- How health data is used: The heart rate measurement is displayed to you on-screen in real-time for your personal reference only. It is used solely to provide the Heart Rate Monitor functionality within the App.
- Data storage: Heart rate data is not stored, saved, or recorded anywhere on your device or on any external server. Once you close the Heart Rate Monitor tool, the data is discarded immediately.

4. Device Permissions
SnapTools may request access to the following device features. All permissions are optional and used solely for specific tool functionality:
- Camera: Used by Magnifier, Mirror, Color Picker, QR Scanner, Text Scanner (OCR), and Heart Rate Monitor tools. Camera data is processed locally on your device and is never stored or transmitted. When used by the Heart Rate Monitor, the camera is used solely to detect heart rate through your fingertip and no images or video are captured or saved.
- Microphone: Used by Sound Meter and Voice Recorder tools. Audio data is processed and stored locally on your device only.
- Location: Used by Speedometer and Compass tools. Location data is used in real-time only and is never stored or transmitted.
- Internet: Used solely for displaying advertisements. No personal data is sent through the internet connection by the App itself.
You can revoke any permission at any time through your device's Settings. The App will continue to function, but specific tools requiring those permissions may be unavailable.
5. Data Storage
All data created within the App (calculator history, notes, preferences, favorites) is stored locally on your device using Android's standard storage mechanisms (Room Database, DataStore Preferences). This data is:
